Well…

I just learned how to pack a parachute.

I’ve jumped from a plane twice in the last five days (yeah, not too much).

I’m turning in my second assignment of the school year.

I’ve survived my first ever round of layoffs.

I’ve got to start my project work.

I’m laying on a couch typing this.

I’m going to eat chili this weekend in the company of geeks.

I’m going to miss Char while she’s away this week.

I ate a lot of turkey last night.

I wish I was working full time.

So I gather you’re not hugely liking the transition back to scholastic mode? Either way, it’d certainly be a pretty huge switch…

How’s the school year looking so far?

You’re not wrong — I like work more than I like school; it feels far more rewarding than anything I’m doing at school, which leads to my phoning it in in class, despite good sense suggesting otherwise…

School is… dull. It’s just not interesting anymore. I’m having a hell of a time motivating myself to give a shit about any of the work.

You’ve asked me why I don’t return to school, I see myself like you and finding what they provide as education far less constantly invigorating than what I find at work.

Man, I really want to jump out of a plane one day. My dad used to when he was in the Airborne. But I have such a fear of heights…though I’d imagine you would get over it pretty quickly when plummenting god knows how many feet from a plane.

It’s not hard to do; just tell me a time that works for you, and shell out some cash ;)

Ask Amy, or Matt… It’s pretty easy to get into, when you take an inclination to do so.

    how much does it cost?

Heh. The first hit is always… $190 :)

It’d have been great if it were actually free.
